IL BOIA SCARLATTO (The Bloody Pit Of Horror) - Gino Peguri - "A Bloody Mess Mash" (1965)

Well, here's another one only the truly depraved might be able to appreciate, but that's okay, however many of you are out there (Tom), this one's for you!!! We could give you ever minute of music & show you every still from "The Bloody Pit Of Horror," but you're still going to miss out unless you go and find a copy of this film for your very own. They'll probably be illegal someday anyway! Remember, "It's no fun being dead!" and that's right! Oh, Yeah, Great music beyond compare!
  Bloody Opus!
"Ooooh!!!, The Crimson Executioner, I'm scared!"

I am the Crimson Executioner, If I swing my upper torso around just enough, these chains will look really tough like real metal! Come and get your love, Ooh, Ooh!

Pretty cool looking giant spider!!

You gotta give Mickey Hargitay giant kudos for doing a helluva good job of looking like the perfect Pomegranate Phantom! And just for kicks, here's a couple more neat scenes with some Bloody Cool Music!!!

MANOS: THE HANDS OF FATE - Huddleston/Smith Jr. - "Opening Theme" (1966)

OK dogs, here you go, this is THE one! THE most subversive song you've ever heard since "The Words Get Stuck In My Throat," by Kipp Hamilton; the beyond description theme song from "Manos." Who is this muse, this goddess pushing vocal chords to an extreme never reached before or since? Come on over, let's give these cats some credit! 100% WTF!! As a matter of fact, this whole movie is 100% WTF. Musically possibly more disturbing than "Bucket Of Blood" if you can believe that. "I am Michael," you must get a copy of this movie!! Let's give Harold P. Warren some love here! He wrote, he produced, he directed & acted in "Manos." Try and make your own movie folks, you'll have a lot more respect for people like Harold & Jerry Warren! A truly amazing accomplishment even if it sucks!!! No matter what, the music is Great!!!

TORMENTED - Albert GLasser - "Opening Theme" (1960)

Feeling Well? Maybe a little seasick? Maybe a little dizzy? Maybe it's acrophobia! Bert I. Gordon could have that affect on a person with his penchant for really big things normally, but somewhere in between "Earth Vs TheSpider" & "Village Of The Giants" he snuck in this sleeper, in which 'The Lighthouse' is the giant, yeah, and Vi's ghost is big at the end too, if you want to count that. Music by Albert Glasser who did the music for a lot of Bert's other movies, works his magic throughout, too bad it sounds like it's coming from a tin can.

No matter what, Vi still looks good!!!!

HAND OF DEATH - WASP WOMAN - Big Dogs-Small Roles

Not really so much about music, but just the fun of interesting people in small roles; here we have Joe Besser, AKA Curly Joe of "The 3 Stooges," a big guy in a very small role, in a fairly small film, & it's a very surreal scene. When funny guys that you are very familiar with are suddenly very serious, and maybe even get killed, it's always extra weird, and what exactly does he mean when he says "Is there anything else I can do for you?" Like what Joe??!! John Agar really does look mad!!!

And then you have Frank Wolff, who, although not as bright a star as Joe Besser, still did have the lead role in "Beast From Haunted Cave" & went on to have a major career in Italy! In this small bit of comedic relief in "Wasp Woman," Frank is quite lecherous & almost stoogelike funny himself. Great stuff, and as a bonus, you get Barboura Morris in the background, even if she is just sitting there! Frank Wolff

CARNIVAL OF SOULS - CAPE CANAVERAL MONSTERS - DOCTOR OF DOOM

It's time for a "Saturday Night Triple Feature." Some torn bits and pieces, and some partially warm leftovers. To start off with, here's a little appetizer from the bar in the 1962 sleepfest "Carnival Of Souls."
This is another song that was playing on the radio and gets cut off very abruptly in the 1960 film "Cape Canaveral Monsters."
And here's the music from a little scene in the 1963 Mexican film, "Las Luchadoras Contra El Médico Asesino," where the bad guys try and break into the girl's apartment, but get their butts kicked instead! "Doctor Of Doom"

KONGA - Gerard Schurmann - "Radio Music" (1961)

Man, that Michael Gough can be a devilish soul, & in "Konga" he probably plays his best role of a really 'not nice' guy. His assistant Margaret loves him; she's so lowly, she doesn't even have a last name and he treats her like crap. Sandra Banks adores his intellect, but has no clue that he's just a dirty old pervert after her bod, not her mind. He has his big monkey kill anybody that pisses him off, and he's growing giant phallic-looking, meat-eating plants in his greenhouse. Does that sound like a nice guy to you? Well, maybe by today's standards, but not back in 1961! Still, it makes for a great movie & should be riding high on your 'to do' list! Gerard Schurmann does a swingin' job on the music, just like he did on the other Michael Gough evil classic, "Horrors Of The Black Museum." Konga
Having a casual conversation with the boss, Hey Mike, watch out, or you'll bust a blood vessel!

Stuck in the back of the truck, might as well break out the radio & listen to some cool tunes!

How bout that? Sandra Banks gets to ride up front!

Getting out of the rain, dancing, everyone's having a great time except, Sandra Banks' boyfriend Bob Kenton, who if Sandra had listened to, would still be alive, & she'd still have two arms!

Bob can't take it anymore!!

THE WILD WORLD OF BATWOMAN - Erich Bromberg (Jerry Warren) - The Young Giants - "Batwoman Jam" (1966)

"Okay, Fun time's over!" " We ordered a sandwich, a sandwich!" "Ha Ha, Ha Ha Ha, Hah!!" "Give me the key!","Oh, Yeah!" "Ha Hah!!" "Tiger, C'mon!" Those are just some of the brilliant quotes from this 8 3/4 minute musical jam of bits from the movie "The Wild World Of Batwoman." The music just keeps on going, and a lot of it is really good when it gets cookin' and they hit some killer grooves! It seems the "Young Giants" play the majority of this music under the direction of Jerry Warren, mixed in with pieces of Jerry's 1959 45 release "Monkey Walk" by Jerry Warren & The Pets on Arwin Records. For all lovers of the best kitch available, it's the...."Batwoman Jam"
Definitely the cheapest looking gauge and equipment ever seen anywhere before or since, but for some reason, you just don't care!
